Salt water fishing: The lake is approx 5 acres. 12ft at the deepest point, and is fed from the sloe's gate from the sea so has an assortment of fish found in shallow sea water such as: eels, crabs, shrimps, flat fish (like Dover sole). The cost to fish the lake is £5 per day per person, and no rod licence is needed. If you prefer to night fish then why not camp for a night beside the lake, You may need to book in advance during the summer months. All tickets to be obtained from The Boathouse on arrival.
Pedal boats: We have 11 pedal boats in total they can hold up to 4 people on the larger boats and for the very young ones we have 3 smaller boats. The lake is overseen by a life guard at all times. There are certain rules and regulations displayed on site which must be adhered to. The coast of hire is £5 per half an hour per boat which includes use of buoyancy aids. ( boats are hired subject to weather conditions on the Lake)
Own Boats and Windsurfs etc: You are more than welcome to bring your own boat and this is priced at £10 per full day or £5 for 3 hours, per boat regardless of size. Model boats are also welcome free of charge but are restricted to a designated area , please ask in The Boathouse on arrival.
